Greetings! I am a vegan of 12 years and am an avid reader, dreamer, writer, and self-professed word nerd. Je parle français, hablo español e parlo italiano. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Montréal, Québec (hence the name "Vegan in Suburbia," with credit going to a fantastic Green Day song, too), and am currently working towards a PhD in Italian Studies in my much-beloved non-suburban home of Toronto, Ontario.
