I'm hustling and bustling away, making arrangements for my departure on Sunday. Last night, while organizing my papers and tickets, I noticed a tiny problem: the flight that would connect us to Milan from Gatwick in London was scheduled for July 2 at 13:15... But at that hour, I will not have even left Montreal yet. There was a slight misunderstanding when I told my cousin in Italy to book the connecting flight. On my ticket from Montreal to Gatwick, it said my departure was July 2 at 19:10 and arriving at 06:45 in Gatwick. As if the time change were not confusing enough, these times and dates were ambiguous because it didn't state that A: the times are local times and B: the date of arrival was not indicated. If the date on the ticket had been explicitly written, that is, had it said "Arrival July 3 ...." this could have been avoided!! Oi... Anyway, when I told my cousin that my flight left at 19:10 and arrived at 06:45, I was wrong to assume she'd know it was for the next day. I feel bad, since her family arranged everything for a Sunday arrival, but... Anyway, check out the itinerary. Everything is explicitly written there, with no problems.
I'll be updating this periodically during my trip, but if for some reason one feels compelled to draw some more detailed information from me, and sooner, feel free to email me at kris (period) vani at gmail. Ok that is all. Here it is.
